The Circle Is Almost Complete

My First Crack at Bowhunting

After I met my wife in 2000 I started to collect every type of hunting and fishing equipment I could get my hands on.  I had used a rifle to deer hunt a couple times and thought a bow might be fun to try.  Having shot recurves in high school gym class and target shot a compound bow with my friend in high school as well, I knew I could do it.  If I got a bow, I thought, I might like bowhunting and even if I didn’t, I could just fling arrows around the back yard at targets.  Continue reading
